What is Chlorpheniramine maleate (Bisotin)?

Chlorpheniramine maleate (Bisotin) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
Chlorpheniramine maleate (Bisotin) is used to treat runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.
This medication is used to treat itching and pain caused by minor burns/cuts/scrapes, sunburn, insect bites, acne, minor skin irritations, or rashes from poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac.
